you may ask why are cars so loud well the exhaust system carries very hot hazardous fumes out of the engine, away from the passenger cabin and releases them as less harmful emissions at the rear of the vehicle. If a pipe gets a hole in it or cracks due to rust or other causes it can cause loud rumbling or extensive vibration throughout the car.
